A few words from a Foster..
I made a visit to TIA the other weekend just to drop off some sardines and towels, with strict instructions from the boyfriend not to come home with another dog. I thought that there was no harm in having a look, but came across Pandora (Felltop Diamond). So skinny you can see every rib, sores all over and the end of her tail missing. She looked at me with her pretty face and floppy ears and I knew that I couldn’t leave her.
A week and a half on and she’s putting weight on, rested and cosy. I can’t believe that someone has put her through all of that and left her wandering the streets. You’d think that she would be timid or withdrawn, but even after all of that her beautiful face and affection shine through. After a bit of TLC she’s very spritely and loves playing with Rupert (our beautiful blue greyhound!). She really does deserve a fantastic forever home with lots of love and cuddles.
We haven’t fostered before as we have only had Rupert for a year and only have a small house, but I would recommend it to anyone. I’m just sorry that we can’t keep her long term.

Pandora AKA Felltop Diamond
This is me in my foster home. I am with a lovely blue greyhound boy. Foster mom cried when she saw me. Foster dad doesn’t want another dog so i am only here for a month until i put weight on. I’ve decided though that if i put enough weight on he won’t know that i am still here. I’ll look just like their other dog. I’ll have to keep out of the way and not be in the same room at the same time.
It’s worth a go, i really like it here.
