Tia Rescue is home to up to 100 Greyhounds, lots of Shire horses, lots of donkeys and a menagerie of other animals.
We are now in our 21st year – being established by Deb in 1996 – and the problem of Greyhound Welfare is still a massive problem.
Tia receives no money from the racing industry.
It wasn’t until 2004 that Tia became a registered charity and has gone from a few stables in a field in Sowerby Bridge to a 70 acre farm in Finningley, Doncaster
We are also an Approved Shire Horse Centre.
Tia has charity shops in Pickering, Meltham, Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, Ashby and at the farm.
We have a 20 acre field set aside which is available to hire for any event.
If you can help in any way, please do.
